The Sindh home department has once again imposed an indefinite ban on pillion riding after violence flared up on Sunday when nearly 20 people were killed.
The home department issued a notification on Sunday night, banning ‘double sawari’ for an indefinite period from Monday 12 am. According to the notification, senior citizens, women, children and journalists are exempt. The government banned pillion riding twice in July. It lifted it last on July 15.
