Sindh Home minister Zulfikar Mirza urged courts on Wednesday to stop releasing terror suspects and criminals on bail.
Six more people have been killed in a spate of violence in the city. Zulfikar Mirza was speaking during the Sindh Assembly session.
The session commenced with Speaker Nisar Khoro in the chair. Opposition leader Jam Ali Madad raised the issue of a rape victim in Tandu Adam.
In response, Sindh Home Minister said the government takes prompt action whenever it receives reports of such crimes.
He appealed to the assembly members to utilise the media to build up pressure on courts, forcing them not to grant bail to terror suspects and criminals.
