A couple of weeks after the government had declared an emergency over the locust attack in nine southern districts of the province, standing crops in the Lakki Marwat district faced another attack from swarms of the pests on Wednesday.
Locals claimed that the fresh attack could potentially cause tremendous damage to crops, claiming that the district administration had failed to heed their warnings.
