LAHORE:
Punjab Industries & Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has said the PPP chairman Bilawal Zardari should stop talking about dislodging the PTI led federal government and ask his father, Asif Ali Zardari, to return the “looted money”.

“The PPP has been in power in Sindh for the last 13 years but the province is in a bad shape. The Sindh government did not purchase wheat from farmers and owing to this 20 kg flour bag is being sold at Rs1,300,” he said while inaugurating development projects at Sikandaria Colony and Sodhiwal.

He also took a dig at the PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and said Shehbaz should return to Pakistan and account for his corruption instead of raising hue and cry.

“The PML-N workers are disappointed by their leadership who are settled in London. More than half of sugar mills belong to Zardari family and Sharif family. We will check stock of sugar mills and bring sugar in the markets being hoarded over there,” he claimed.

Aslam Iqbal announced development package for Sikandaria Colony and Sodhiwal and also stated to grant ownership rights to a slum at Sikandaria Colony.

He said everyone dreams of his own house and the PTI government will fulfill their dreams. “The government will give soft loan of up to Rs5 lac to those who have a plot but do not have resources to build a house on it.”

He said the PTI is fighting corrupt mafia and with the power of public mandate it will them.

“For the first time in the history of the country, the powerful and corrupt mafia is facing accountability. Those dreaming of midterm elections and in-house change will face disappointment and elections will be held in 2023,” he added.

He said the PTI government will come into power again by clinching public votes.

He said the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has increased difficulties of citizens due to overbilling. “We will sternly deal with Lesco’s corrupt mafia. I will raise the issue of overbilling with Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he added.
