PPP minister satisfied with anti-encroachment drive in Sindh
Strict action will be taken against every single element involved in illegal constructions, says Nasir Hussain Shah

Demolition under the ongoing anti-encroachment operations must continue to comply with the directives of the Supreme Court and the Sindh government, said Sindh local government minister Nasir Hussain Shah on Monday after paying a surprise visit to the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) office. Shah reviewed the anti-encroachment operation and expressed satisfaction over the progress.
“Strict action will be taken against every single element involved in illegal constructions, no matter how influential they are,” warned Shah during the meeting, adding that encroachments must be removed to avoid the destruction of infrastructure and enable the city’s economic development.The provincial minister also expressed annoyance at the establishment of illegal structures in Lyari and directed the relevant officials to take effective action against it.
