RAWALPINDI: Some people walk into Holy Family Hospital on late on Friday, take out parts from outer units of air-conditioners, put these in cargo pick-ups and drive away, all the time no one bothers to ask them any question.

A theft compressor and condenser, the main and most expensive components of the out-door units of split air-conditioners (ACs) from the Holy Family Hospital (HFH) on Friday night has raised numerous questions on the security of the hospital.

HFH Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Shahzad Ahmed said that an FIR has been lodged with the New Town police and an inquiry committee has been set up under Additional-MS Dr Tanveer.

The committee will fix responsibility of the security lapse and present report within 72 hours, the MS said.

Police have obtained closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage from the hospital management. However, the robbers could not be identified due to dim light.
