Man sentenced to death for slaughtering 5

During questioning, he allegedly admitted to the murders as revenge

ATTOCK:
An Additional District and Sessions Judge in Attock on Friday awarded the death penalty to a man who had mercilessly butchered five members of a family, including two women and three children.

A woman identified as Alishia Masih had left her husband, Toba Tek Singh resident Hanook Masih. She then contracted marriage with Wasim in Lahore after converting to Islam. Alishia then moved with her new husband, a barber, to Jatial Village in Hazro Tehsil of Attock. Wasim’s first wife and her children also living with them.


In June  2018, Hanook barged into Wasim’s house and killed his ex-wife along with Wasim’s first wife Naila and their three children. Police ultimately apprehend Hanook. During questioning, he allegedly admitted to the murders as revenge.
