Pakistani student Ali Raza laid to rest

Pakistani student Ali Raza, who was killed in the violence in Kyrgyzstan, was laid to rest in Shorkot.

Pakistani student Ali Raza, who was killed in the violence in Kyrgyzstan, was laid to rest in Shorkot on Wednesday.

Raza's funeral prayers were offered in the area's local graveyard.


Family, friends, relatives and a large number of locals attended the funeral service.

Ali Raza's body was brought back from Kyrgyzstan in a special PAF C-130 plane.

It was received at the Islamabad airport by his family. FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PAF officials carried the coffin of Ali Raza after it was brought to Pakistan. Qureshi was also present at the funeral.
