Police alert: SSPs to be appointed
Sindh Police intends to appoint five SSPs and 15 SPs in the five districts of the city.

A notification for the appointment of Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) in all five districts of Karachi will be issued on Monday.
While talking to The Express Tribune, Sindh Police additional inspector general Saud Mirza said that is very likely that Asim Qaimkhani, Nadeem Sheikh, Ahsan Umar, Asif Aijaz and Rao Muhammad Anwar will be appointed as SSP district central, SSP district South, SSP district east, SSP district west and SSP district Malir respectively. Reportedly, in addition to the SSPs who will work under the supervision of three DIGs, the police department will deploy 15 SPs in Karachi, i.e three for each district.
“Initially each SSP will oversee two towns. The SSP central will head Liaquatabad town and Gulberg town, SSP south will oversee Saddar and city,” he said. Mirza added that Gulshan town and Shah Faisal town will report to SSP East while the SSP West will head Baldia and SITE. “SSP Malir will oversee Malir town and Gaddap town.
