‘Utilising resources for facilitation of inmates’
Superintendent Central Jail Adiala Saqib Chaudhry says almost 250 patients are treated every day

Superintendent Central Jail Adiala Saqib Nazir Chaudhry said that they were utilising all resources to ensure the provision of all basic facilities to the inmates.
He was speaking to a delegation of the Young Journalist Association (YJA) led by its President Muhammad Yousaf Khan at his office on Wednesday. The superintendent asserted that the inmates were given good quality food along with the best healthcare facilities.
Talking more about medical facilities in the Adyala Jail hospital, he said that services such as ultrasound, X-ray and laboratory tests were available at the 80-bed hospital in the jail while, he added, around 250 prisoners were treated there every day.
