14 booked for stealing sand

FAISALABAD: Police registered cases against 14 persons on charges of sand pilfering from Gogera Branch Canal. Police said on Wednesday that Special Magistrate Irrigation Department Mohammad Afzal filed a complaint to the Sitiana police that the accused stole sand from the canal near Chak 275-GB. Police registered cases against the accused.
