Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines for more than just her films the past few years and her sister Rangoli Chandel seems intent on keeping her sister in the news.

Having blasted Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and others in the past on her Twitter account, this time Rangoli took aim at veteran lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar, accusing him of threatening her sister and asking her to 'apologise to Hrithik Roshan.'

Responding to a Twitter user criticising Akhtar for calling Indian PM Modi a 'fascist', Rangoli tweeted, "Javed Akhtar called Kangana home and intimidated her, threatened her to say sorry to Hrithik."

She wasn't done with just this - she went on to add that director Mahesh Bhatt once threw a chappal (slipper) at Kangana. "Mahesh Bhatt threw a chappal on her because she refused to play a suicide bomber. They call the PM fascist, chacha ji aap dono kya ho (uncle, what are you)?" she tweeted.

The attack references the time when Kangana leveled allegations at Hrithik Roshan for leaving her distraught after a failed relationship, sharing emails exchanged between the two. Hrithik expressly denied sharing a romantic relationship with her and took the matter the court.

Rangoli, however, has consistently been vocal in supporting her sister, taking aim at whoever she feels may hinder her career. She also unleashed a lengthy rant about Alia Bhatt's recent win at the Filmfare awards for her role in Gully Boy, an award that Kangana lost.
