Japanese envoy expresses his heartfelt condolences over the sad demise

Matsuda Kuninori, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of Naeemul Haque, the special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on political affairs who breathed his last at a Karachi hospital on Saturday.

“The late Naeemul Haque was a great friend of Japan and myself personally and I feel deeply saddened over his tragic death,” Ambassador Matsuda said in his condolence message.

Haque, the 70-year-old founder member of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had been suffering from blood cancer since 2018.  He was a member of PTI’s core committee and also served as the central information secretary and president of the Sindh chapter of the PTI.

The Japanese envoy expressed his deepest sympathies with the family and friends of Haque, saying, “Allah may grant them patience to bear this irreparable loss with patience and fortitude. The untimely passing away of Naeemul Haque is a big shock for all of us as he was an ardent supporter of Pakistan -Japan friendly relations”.
