The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Assembly Secretariat to provide research, capacity-building and technical support to help the parliament evolve and perform effectively.

The agreement was signed by National Assembly Secretariat Secretary Tahir Hussain and SDPI Executive Director Dr Abid Qaiyum Suleri, on behalf of their respective organizations, at the NA Secretariat.

The two agreed to provide technical and research support to three NA committees, including to the Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, the Standing Committee on Climate Change and the Parliamentary Committee on Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The chairpeople of these committees were also present at the ceremony.
