The UK government on Friday informed that its efforts after last year’s floods in Pakistan have been the country’s largest ever response to a humanitarian disaster. Speaking at a media briefing the British High Commissioner Adam Thomson informed that the British people had donated nearly Rs10 billion out of their own pockets, adding that the British government had contributed an additional Rs18.5 billion.
