Bad Blood: CID nabs 11 suspects

CID has nabbed eleven suspects from various parts of the city for target killings, kidnapping for ransom and robbery.

The Crime Investigation Department has nabbed eleven suspects from various parts of the city for target killings, kidnapping for ransom and robbery.


On Friday, SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam Khan, who was flanked by CID AIG Ghulam Shabbir Sheikh and DSP Ali Raza, announced the arrests at a late press conference in Garden area.

The suspects were Faheem Hussain alias Chapta, Mohammad Faisal Baig, Mubashir Ahmed, Nasir Hussain alias Munawar, Mohammad Faheem, Ahmed, Faheem Butt, Ilyas Jatt, Shahnawaz Channa, Farhan Ali and Jehangir.

Farhan and Jehangir were accused of being involved in target killing cases in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, including the murder of a businessman Abdul Ali. Accused Faheem Hussain was said to have killed a man during a dacoity in a house that came within the jurisdiction of Azizabad police station. Police also recovered jewelry and Rs700,000 from him.

Police recovered a Kalashnikov, three stolen cars, a repeater rifle, 222 rifle, eight TT pistols, 9mm pistol, 2 kg of charas, mobile phones, digital cameras and numerous round of ammunition.
