A Pakistani expatriate family was deprived of foreign currency and gold ornaments in Rawat area on Thursday.
Muhammad Shirazi lodged a report with the Rawat police that he was on way to his house along with his sister and two nieces when two armed men in a black car intercepted them on Kalar Road and snatched 8,000 British pounds (about Rs1million), gold ornaments worth Rs1.5 million, five cellphones, eight bangles, five rings, two bracelets, two locket sets and earrings from the family.
