It's been about a month since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a shocking announcement that they'd be taking a step back from the Royal family, and the weeks since have reportedly been much calmer for the both of them, especially for Meghan.

People revealed that the former Suits actor is adjusting well to a quieter life in Canada, where she and Prince Harry have set up shop as they figure out their next steps.

"It was just this tremendous shift when Meghan returned to Canada [after their announcement]," a source told the magazine. "You could tell that she felt so much less stressed."

The couple have been staying on Vancouver Island with their son Archie in recent weeks, and have been enjoying "living a quiet life," the source confirmed.

I know what it's like to marry a national hero from another country: Jemima supports Meghan

"They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They
are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs."

Since Meghan and Harry decamped to Canada, they've been spotted around Vancouver Island, where Meghan has been seen walking their dogs and picking up a friend from the airport.

"Archie is the priority. It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first. He’s a happy kid—he loves to laugh," a close friend told People. "Archie and Harry have such a good time together. And Meghan is a great mom. She’s very much about tending to him. They are trying to live their life as regular parents."
