Humayun Saeed says he will star with Shees Gul in upcoming project

Humayun Saeed  on Saturday confirmed that he and child star Shees Gul would be working together in the future.

The Meray Paas Tum Ho star revealed on an an Instagram post by an entertainment portal that he will be featuring with the young actor in an upcoming project.

The caption, which read, "Who wants to see this amazing on-screen father son duo together in a movie," received a reply from Saeed confirming something many fans are waiting to see happen again.

"Coming together soon Inshallah," Saeed wrote in the comment section, without elaborating whether it would be a film or a drama serial.

Humayun Saeed and Shees Gul, who played the father-son roles Danish and Rumi, had delivered some stellar performances in the hugely popular drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho.

The drama, which recently came to an end, also featured Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles.

The Meray Paas Tum Ho finale left several wondering, worried, happy and confused, as Twitter remained divided after it aired on Saturday, January 25. Questions were raised about the plot, the death of an innocent character and the way he died. However, what remained constant was the praise Saeed playing that character received for pulling it off immaculately.

Directed by Nadeem Baig, the drama was written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, who drew criticism over controversial dialogues.
