Recruitment begins in Aab-e-Pak Authority
More than 250 officers and personnel will be recruited
LAHORE:
In compliance with the directives of the Punjab government, the process of deployment of officers to the Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority, which has been created to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Punjab including Lahore has begun.
More than 250 officers and personnel will be recruited in the authority and will provide support to the public health engineering department. Seven officers are given charge whose services have been borrowed from the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).
The notification has been issued following the directives of CEO Syed Zahid Aziz.
The water supply process will be completed in different phases for which initially the Punjab government will provide Rs8 billion for public health for providing clean water.
