Programme: Teacher training starts at DUHS

A month-long programme to train teachers has been launched by Dow University of Health Sciences

KARACHI: A month-long programme to train teachers has been launched by Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The Professional Competency Enhancement Programme (PCEP) aims to help teachers evaluate their attitude toward teaching. The programme is being conducted at the Dow Medical College and 35 lecturers and teachers from different institutions of DUHS are part of it. The course coordinator for the programme and DUHS’s professor of medicine, Dr Rana Qamar Masood, explained that the programme offers eight different modules covering aspects of professional competency development.
