Javed Jaffrey claps back at troll who told him to leave India

The actor has been a vocal critic of the Citizenship Amendment Act since quite a while

Actor Javed Jaffrey recently had a heated spat with a troll on Twitter. According to Hindustan Times, the actor responded with a sassy reply when a troll asked him to move to Europe for opposing Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

The actor had initially posted a news article about the resolution against CAA moving to India. A person then called on Jaffrey to leave the country.

"Why don't you move to Europe. We don't need traitors in our nation," the user had said. To this, Jaffrey in a sarcastic manner told the troll off.

“Your nation? Kab kharida aapne(When did you buy it) ma’am ?? Last time I read the constitution it spoke of democracy, equality and right to dissent. Wouldn’t know if you have made any changes privately though. Kindly update,” Jaffrey tweeted.
