KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to arrive in Karachi on Monday, where he will distribute cheques to young people through the Kamyab Jawan Loan Programme.

The distribution ceremony will be held at the Governor House, where youth who applied for loans in different districts of Sindh will receive cheques from the prime minister.

"There is no programme scheduled to meet leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan," claimed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf parliamentary leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh. "I do not know about any other meeting planned for PM Khan in the city on Monday," he added.

There have recently been concerns about the MQM-P leaving the federal government, with party convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announcing his decision to resign from his position as Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication earlier this month.
