Suicide jacket goes off pre-maturely, injures two in S Waziristan

The explosion took place when the bomber accidently hit an FWO vehicle busy in constructing Wana-Taank road.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Two people were injured as a suicide jacket tied to a bomber’s body went off pre-maturely near a vehicle of Frontier Works Organization (FWO) in South Waziristan on Thursday.

The explosion took place when the bomber accidently hit an FWO vehicle busy in constructing Wana-Taank road.

The driver and conductor of the vehicle sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearby hospital. However, the vehicle was completely damaged.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the explosion.

The incident took place in the area associated with Qari Hussain of the Tehreek-i-Pakistan Taliban.
