ICT admin sets up 13 fair price flour shops
DC says all arrangements have been made to tackle the situation if flour crisis hits
ISLAMABAD:
With the rates of flour skyrocketing in the open market, the district administration in the federal capital on Thursday set up as many as 13 fair price shops across the city to ensure an uninterrupted supply of wheat flour to the masses at official rates.
"Special teams are paying surprise visits to shops as well to flour mills to control hoarding," explained Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat on Thursday.
Refuting reports of a wheat flour crisis in the federal capital, the DC said that all arrangements have been made to tackle the situation if it occurs. Instructions have been issued to flour mill.
