Task management system for health sector launched
The health minister added that they have introduced a unified policy for employees of the health department
PESHAWAR:
To improve the delivery of health services in the province, the provincial government on Wednesday launched a ‘Task Management System’.
Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Wednesday, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said that under the system, transfer of medical staff will be held once a year while targeted transfers will be eliminated.
The health minister added that they have introduced a unified policy for employees of the health department.
“No hospital will be without a doctor, nor will there be empty medicine stores,” he promised, adding that they will ensure health facilities in the rural areas are powered through solar power, while the provision of medicines and doctors will be ensured at the district and local levels.
