Man loses eyesight in acid attack
Model Town police have registered an FIR against Riaz under the Terrorism Act

A young man lost eyesight and suffered severe burns when his friend allegedly threw acid on him over a minor dispute in Burewala on Tuesday.
Police said that the victim, identified as Ahmed, and accused named Riaz, had developed friendship on Facebook. One day they argued over some issue and Riaz threw acid on Ahmed. The injured was rushed to THQ Hospital Burewala. After initial treatment he was referred to Nishtar Hospital, Multan, where his condition is stated to be critical.
Model Town police have registered an FIR against Riaz under the Terrorism Act. According to DPO Akhtar Farooq, teams have been formed to arrest the suspect.
The suspect works as a security guard at Faisalabad Medical College.
