Sino-pak relations: Building of frigate discussed
Officials discussed joint projects including the JF-17 Thunder Fighter aircraft MBT-2000 project
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan and China have agreed upon the significance of strategic relationships and cooperation for preserving peace in South Asia. During a meeting between Pakistan Army Chief of General Staff Lt General Waheed Arshad, who is currently on an official visit to China, and deputy minister for China, Wang Yiren, both officials discussed engineering mechanisms and joint projects, including the JF-17 Thunder Fighter aircraft MBT-2000 project and the building of a frigate at the Karachi shipyard.
