Bangash directs to expedite local area authority bill

The newly-appointed special assistant to the chief minister on Local Government Affairs Kamran Bangash on Friday directed to expedite work on the 17-year-old “Local Areas Development Authority Bill”.
He issued these directions while chairing a special meeting about the bill at the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Local Government Department on Friday.
“For the first time since 2002, the K-P Local Area Development Authority Bill is in progress, which will provide ease to the housing authorities,” Bangash said.
