KARACHI:
The city's traffic police have announced a new campaign against one-way violators in Karachi, which is to start from January 17 (tomorrow).
Traffic police teams will be deployed at 100 locations in the city to catch the offenders between 3pm and 6pm, said a police spokesperson in a statement on Wednesday.
The traffic police will also be assisted by the relevant police stations during the drive. Drivers caught going in the wrong direction on one-way routes will be arrested and booked for negligence under Section 279.
