Hit Men: 24 arrested for murders and robberies
CIA claims to have arrested 24 suspects on Tuesday in connection with 14 murders among 56 serious crimes.

The Crimes Investigation Agency (CIA) claims to have arrested 24 suspects on Tuesday in connection with 14 murders among 56 serious crimes. In a statement, the CIA said that among the suspects were several contract killers wanted for the murders of complainants in criminal cases and of cable operators in parts of the city. The arrested men included the Naveed alias Neda gang, which had confessed to several contract killings, and several dacoits. Many of the suspects were also wanted for cases of extortion. The CIA said that the murder cases dated from the murder of a sub inspector in Badamibagh last year to as far back as the killing of a subedar in Officers’ Colony in 2004.
