The trio was snapped languishing on the beach, enjoying their time off, with Adele flaunting her new, svelte figure in a navy sundress. The pictures sparked a ton of comments from fans, who expressed excitement at seeing Harry Styles and Adele together, however that was short-lived.

People started speculating about her 'scarily' skinny new look - the singer was incessantly called out earlier for being 'too fat'.
Seems like people can never stop complaining, or nit-picking for that matter. Many resorted to calling her 'haggard' and surprisingly 'unhealthy'.
Personally, I think #Adele was more attractive and sexy with her curves. It was part of what made her different and real. Skinny does not equal hot, that's the problem with body-image celebrities and their fans

A UK publication even published a headline referring to her as 'Skinny Adele', leading to fans' outrage at the moniker. Many came out in objection to the headline, saying how she is the same Adele, and does not need any prefix.
Looking at the bright side, the positive messages seem to have overridden the negativity with troves of fans defending Adele and her decision to lose weight.

Adele was first spotted with her new fit figure at Drake's birthday party.
Here's hoping the discourse around body shaming, be it skinny or fat shaming, takes a turn for the better and people are more mindful in the future.
