HYDERABABD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) rally, largely participated by the Hindu community, at Pakistan Indian border of Khokrapar on Sunday sent a message of solidarity for the oppressed in India and India-Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

The participants of the rally also condemned the Indian government for its atrocities in IOK and the discriminatory Indian citizenship act victimising millions of Indian Muslims.

"Modi has reduced the secular state of India into a Nazi state of Hitler," said Member Provincial Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, leader of PTI’s Sindh chapter.

Sheikh led the rally which started from Hyderabad's Shiv temple and passed through Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas and Umerkot districts before culminating at the zero-point at the border.

He contended that the controversial citizenship law is an attack on the religious minorities particularly on the Muslims against whom the state has launched a brutal crackdown.

"Modi is carrying out state-sponsored terrorism in India as well as in the IOK."  He asserted that at India’s discriminatory and oppressive policies will ultimately lead to the country's polarisation.

"Modi can't suppress the voice of freedom in IOK despite all of his shameful atrocities and human rights violations," he emphasised adding that in Pakistan minorities enjoyed their complete rights and lived in peace and harmony with the majority Muslims in a safe and secure environment.

He thanked the participants who travelled to the border to send a strong message to India. He vowed that the citizens will fight shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces in the event of war with India.

PTI Member National AssemblyJay Pirkash Ukrani said the Hindu community has proved their love for Pakistan by participating in the rally in large numbers.

"The minorities are completely safe and secure in Pakistan and they live a peaceful life,” he added.

MPA Sanjay Gangwani said the Hindu community is ready to sacrifice their lives in defence of the country if India imposed war on Pakistan.
