Karachi police arrest 6 alleged criminals
Criminals were involved in eight incidents of target killings, extortion and over 30 incidents of robbery.

Liaquatabad Police in Karachi had arrested six accused -- who were involved in the country's biggest bank robbery, target killing and extortion in the country, on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, Liaquatabad Town police officer Naveed Khwaja said that one of the accused, Jannat Ali Jaffari was arrested from Liaquatabad’s Angara Goth area.
He along with his gang looted Rs310m from a bank in 2009. Five of the gang members were also arrested along with a large cache of ammunition.
Jannat Ali Jaffari was allegedly involved in the aforementioned robbery and providing shelter to the other five arrested, who were also involved in target killings and kidnapping for ransom.
Khwaja said these criminals were involved in eight incidents of target killings, extortion and over 30 incidents of robbery.
Law enforcement agencies have made several similar arrests in Karachi in recent times, recovering large caches of weapons and ammunition from the arrested.
