Two burnt in fire incidents
Two elderly citizens, including a woman, suffered severe burn injuries in two separate fire incidents on Saturday.

Two elderly citizens, including a woman, suffered severe burn injuries in two separate fire incidents on Saturday.
Officials from Rescue 1122 claimed that swift response times in both incidents enabled them to put out the fire promptly, preventing loss of life and property.
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that the first fire incident was reported at a house in Pakistan Town where gas leaking from a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder combusted explosively. It set the house on fire.
As a result, 51-year-old Robina suffered 15 per cent burns on her body. The rescue spokesperson claimed that the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes of receiving the call. The official added that their quick response prevented items worth Rs100 million from being turned into ash.
In another incident, 52-year-old Muhammad Muthair lit his cigarette in his Sadiqabad house causing his mattress to catch fire. The blaze quickly spread and eventually engulfed the entire room.
The Rescue official said that the victim suffered severe burns. He was rushed to the hospital in a very critical condition where he remains under treatment.
The police have launched probes into both fire incidents to conclusively determine the cause and spread of fires.
