ISLAMABAD:
Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) chairman Altaf Ahmad Bhat has said that India cannot suppress the Kashmiris' voice of freedom through oppression and brutalities.

“Kashmiris will get the freedom because of their uncountable sacrifices for their motherland,” he said while addressing an event held for Kashmir Kings cricket team on Saturday.

Bhat said Kashmir Kings team is incomplete without the involvement of players from occupied Jammu and Kashmir. “We have to complete the Kashmir Kings team by liberating our brothers and sisters from the Indian atrocities,” he added.

With the establishment of Kashmir Kings, Bhat said, the Kashmir cricketers have found a new commitment and “we congratulate and support Nisar Sheikh and his team for the efforts they made”. He said every person should play their part for liberating the occupied valley.

“Young people are the custodians of nation’s prosperous future,” he remarked.

Along with sports, he said, youngster must fulfill their responsibilities for the success of Kashmir movement.

The ceremony was organised on the occasion of the departure of Kashmir Kings to attend the Peshawar Premier League cricket tournament to be played in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa capital.

Raja Arshad, Raja Bashir, Usmani Shafiq Butt, Mehtab Ashraf, Iqbal Akram, Kashmir Kings Chairman and JI Youth Independent Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan President Nisar Ahmad Sheikh and others notables addressed the ceremony.

Syed Khalid Gardezi, Kashif Mir, Abdul Ma'am, Khar Haidri, Bilal Ahmed Raja and Abdul Matin were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Bhat said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is extremist, who is massacring Muslims in his country.

“The first choice of people living in occupied Kashmir is only Pakistan … Kashmir’s rivers and winds flow towards Pakistan. Millions of people have been martyred for this purpose, thousands are injured and thousands are in jail. God willing, these sacrifices will not go in vain, and Kashmir will be liberated.”
