CPO suspends three officers for incomplete data record in Taxila,Wah
Says he will check police stations and offices across the district
RAWALPINDI:
City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younas has suspended three police officers for not updating the official record.
According to a police spokesperson, the CPO paid a surprise visit to Taxila Police Station and Wah Police Station and checked the record of the cases under investigation, proclaimed offenders, duty roster, lock up, front desk, and the officials’ beat chart and suspended a Station House Officer (SHO), a moharrar and a sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) on negligence of incomplete record.
"Improvement of police stations is a priority, therefore lethargy is intolerable," said the police chief, adding, “policemen were meant to serve people on merit.”
"I will check police stations and offices across the district. There is no place for negligence," he added.
