Institutions stymied by PTI actions: Malik
Says ECP and other institutions have become non-functional due to flawed policies of PM Imran Khan and his cabinet
QUETTA:
National Party President Dr Malik Baloch has blamed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for non-functionality of federal and provincial governments and state institutions.
He was addressing a party workers moot in Sibi.
He said that the country is facing serious problems as democracy, Constitution and parliament have completely been paralysed under the PTI government.
Malik accused the government of using a national institution, National Accountability Bureau, as a tool for political victimisation.
He added that the Election Commission of Pakistan and other institutions have also become non-functional due to flawed policies of PM Imran Khan and his cabinet.
“Instead of focusing on public service, the PTI government has imposed restrictions on media — a vocal critic of government’s performance,” said the NP president.
Malik was accompanied by NP Secretary General Jan Mohammad Buledi and NP Vice President and Senator Mir Kabir. The former Balochistan chief minister also laid the blame for the economic crisis bedevilling the Centre and provinces at the door of ‘inefficient team of the PM’.
