ICCI urges CDA to develop industrial areas
CDA board had approved amendments in industrial by-laws few years ago
ISLAMABAD:
Capital Development Authority (CDA) needs to focus on better development of industrial areas in the federal capital, said Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) acting president Saifur Rahman Khan on Friday.
CDA board had approved amendments in industrial by-laws few years ago, but the authority neither notified nor implemented these amendments.
Islamabad Industrial Areas Association’s Ali Mirza said that CDA cancelled some industrial plots on the pretext of non-conforming use. He demanded CDA restore them.
