Police seize 38kg of narcotics

Police successfully foiled a smuggling attempt and seized 38 kilogrammes of drugs hidden in a vehicle while conducting a search operation on Mandiala Warkal Road.
Five involved in smuggling, including a woman, have been arrested. According to DPO Ghazi Salahuddin, the accused used to bring drugs from Mardan and sell them in Sheikhupura and Lahore. The accused have been identified as Mumtaz, Falak Niaz, Kamal, Intizar and Sarfraz Bibi. The seized drugs cost more than Rs100 million. DPO Salahuddin further said that the drug dealers do not deserve any leniency and stern action would be taken against the accused.
