Alhamra holds photo exhibition

Alhamra Arts Council organised different programmes, on Tuesday, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at Alhamra Art Gallery, the Mall.
The programmes included a seminar and an exhibition featuring portraits of the founding father, painted by renowned portrait makers. The artists included Saeed Akhtar, Colin David, Mehmood Butt, Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi and others.
A large number of art aficionados, artists, and people from different walks of life attended the exhibition and seminar. Information Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar was the chief guest of the event. Speaking on the occasion, he said that it is a great gesture of the Lahore Arts Council (LAC) to pay tribute to the founding father and to organise his efforts and his sacrifices which he made for the people of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Information Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar, who was chief guest at the event, said that this is a time for us to remember the message of our country’s founder and follow it in every aspect of our lives.
LAC Executive Director Ather Ali khan said that we want to celebrate and pay tribute to our country’s founder in a different way.
