Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25 to honour the birth of Jesus Christ. Although it is mainly observed by Christians, it has in the current era surpassed religious boundaries and become a symbol of a holistic culture.
The month of December, therefore, carries a festive feeling, with celebrations usually beginning well before and continuing for around two weeks after Christmas Day.
It is a festival cherished and loved by adults and kids alike. People also set up Christmas trees in their homes and decorate them with colourful balls, ribbons and red socks, and shops and showrooms display glittering red and white colours to set up the Christmas mood.
