QUETTA: Levies Force Director General Mujeebur Rehman Qambrani has said that the force is fully fraught with the latest weaponry and that 30,000 personnel of the law enforcement agency had been performing duty in the province in order to thwart any misadventure.

The DG shared these views the other day, while addressing the security personnel at Levies Training Centre in Khuzdar.

Qambrani noted that the Levies had been playing a pivotal role in maintaining peace in Balochistan and it was due to their vigilance and dedication that the law and order situation in the province had improved.

“Levies rendered colossal sacrifices in securing the property and lives of people and now the force has gained popularity among folks due to their honesty and sincerity,” the DG said.

DG Qambrani observed that by imparting modern training on the force and by equipping them with the latest weaponry, the Levies were ever ready to meet the security challenges.

“Today another 391 personnel completed their training and joined the force, which would increase the capacity of Levies,” the DG remarked.
