Raisani says youth needs to pursue higher studies including acquiring expertise in IT
QUETTA:
As the heart of CPEC and the country’s least-developed province, Balochistan deserves special grants to develop research and innovation programmes for its youth, said Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) leader Lashkari Raisani.
“The province’s universities are looking to the federal government for special grants to foster research and innovation in Balochistan following the multi-billion dollar Chinese investment”, Raisani said Friday.
He was addressing a laptop distribution ceremony on the Mastung campus of the University of Balochistan.
Terming Balochistan a regional strategic hub, the BNP-M senior leader said that, in view of the province’s geographical importance, its youth needed to pursue higher studies including acquiring expertise in IT.
