KSE-100 hanging close to 9,000 level

KARACHI:

Powerful selling pressures were witnessed at the Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday as all the major indices saw downward trends.


The benchmark KSE-100 Index lost as much as 340 points on the opening day of the week, and now hangs very close to the 9,000 level, currenlty at 9190.


The KSE-30 Index lost a maximum 350 points and the KMI-30 shed 440 points.


The All-Share Index also lost 200 points and the top companies were Lotte Pakistan, Wolrd Call and Arif Habib.

murtaza | 13 years ago | Reply Dont get panic by falling market because this is done by one or two big players who want to put pressure on people to reverse tax modalities according to there wishes.
