Suspects arrested for aerial firing, possession of illegal weapons

LAHORE: Dolphin Squad arrested five suspects from the suburbs of the city for aerial firing and possession of illegal weapons.

SP Dolphin Squad Naveed Irshad briefed the media that in response to the aerial firing in the areas of Batapur and Chohang, Dolphin Squad arrested a few suspects from Eden Villas and seized two pistols and one rifle from their possession.

In Bata Pur, the squad stopped a suspicious car for snap checking and caught the driver after a failed attempt of fleeing from the scene.

The squad seized the vehicle and two automotive fire rifles, five magazines and dozens of bullets from the vehicle. Accused Iliyas, Adnan, Zaheer, Usman and Shahbaz were handed over to Chohang Police and separate cases have been registred against the accused.
