A report published by App Annie, an analytics firm unveiled the top 10 most downloaded apps,  amongst which were Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram, all belonging to Mark Zuckerberg's company.

The list also included a very recently launched TikTok which comes as no surprise.

Despite growing scrutiny of watchdogs over Facebook’s privacy laws, fake news, and stance on political ads, the company gained about 43.6% this year, thanks to the above-expectations revenue in the first half of the year.
