Three-day polio campaign begins in Sargodha
More than 1.39 million children of less than five years will be administered polio drops

A three-day polio campaign would begin across the Sargodha division on Monday and all four district administrations have completed arrangements to make the polio campaign successful.
Health Services Director Dr Rana Abdullah said that during the campaign, more than 1.39 million children of less than five years across the division would be administered polio drops. “A total of 3,302 mobile, 407 permanent and 192 transit teams would perform their duties in different Union Councils (UCs) across the division,” he said.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Dr Riaz Ahmed told that 6,30,000 children would be immunized in district Sargodha for which 1,451 mobile, 198 permanent and 81 transit teams have been constituted while 3,766 officers and staffers have also been trained for this purpose.
The officials of the Health Authority said strict monitoring of the polio campaign must be ensured at all places.
