The actor uploaded a post on his Instagram regarding the upcoming film

Entertainment Desk December 14, 2019

Previously there had been reports of Deepika Padukone preparing for her second Hollywood film, and rumours now suggest that she has set off to sign one. However, whether the film would be another Return of Xander Cage or something else was unclear until Vin Diesel decided to bring some clarity.

The Hollywood actor recently updated a post on his Instagram, hinting at Padukone's presence in Xander Cage 4. He shared a picture of himself with the caption, “I appreciate the creativity. How ironic that I had a Xander Cage meeting. Each Franchise has their respective beautiful Family. Blessed.” But what got us intrigued was the hashtag Deepika Padukone before #XanderCage 4.

His post does not specify as to whether Padukone has been confirmed for the upcoming film or her presence was simply limited to the meeting. However, it is clear that she would not have been mentioned or called for nothing.

Padukone will also be seen playing an acid attack survivor Malti in Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak. The film's trailer had garnered huge appreciation and people are waiting for its release on January 10, 2020.

Apart from that, she will be seen playing her husband, Ranveer’s on-screen wife in Kabir Khan’s ’83. Also teaming up with Siddhant Chaturvedi for a Dharma film.

Nevertheless, Padukone's likely presence in Diesel's Xander Cage 4 can only be confirmed once she makes it official
