Twitter erupted in the wake of the attack, making it the top trending story, and a number of celebrities have also raised their voice against the brutality.

Tamgha-e-Imtiaz winner, Mehwish Hayat also spoke out against the attack saying, "You’d think that these lawyers whose job is to uphold the law would know better."
Khaas actor, Ali Rehman Khan cited how the Prophet (PBUH) discouraged attacking hospitals. "Our Prophet (PBUH) has ordered us to protect the sick and ailing. Is this how we do it? Gangsters, not lawyers," he tweeted.
Bilal Ashraf termed the lawyers involved in the violent protests 'hooligans' saying, "Lawyers behaving like hooligans What if any of your family members were suffering in the hospitals or fighting for their lives?"
It is indeed a sad day for the country and one that we hope is not repeated.
